What does Edda add if we already use AI?

AI tools can already offer memory, connected tools and recurring work. Edda brings the mapping, integration, configuration and ongoing operation needed to make those capabilities useful across your company. We build on sound existing systems and internal work, and help your people adopt the result.

Do we have to change all our tools?

We start by understanding what you already have, including useful internal builds. We agree which sources are authoritative, which connections are needed and where a process could work better. The system is adapted to your company; that can also mean improving the way work passes between people.

Where does our information go?

We set up the company foundation on a dedicated server under your company’s control. That is where the shared record is held. Access policy determines who and which services may use it. If you choose an external model, permitted prompts and context are sent to that provider under your chosen arrangements. Hosting, integrations and provider terms are agreed for your deployment.

Can we choose our models?

Yes. We configure compatible models and providers for the work, including GPT, Claude and open-weight options. A self-hosted model can keep inference within your chosen company environment, subject to the actual deployment and other integrations. Open-weight does not itself mean self-hosted or private. Quality, hardware needs and running costs vary; changing models can require configuration and testing.

Can everyone see everything?

No. Each person uses the company knowledge appropriate to their role and permissions. Restricted material, including HR and payroll records, needs its own access boundaries. We map those boundaries with you before the pilot and verify them before extending access.

What can an agent do without asking?

Only the work your company permits for that workflow. That might include opening an internal task, updating an agreed field or checking for an overdue response. Your people approve decisions and commitments outside those permissions. We agree the actions, owners and escalation rules as part of the build.

How do we get started?

We map the business, agree a bespoke pilot and define success before building. The pilot proves a working part of the intended company system with real information and a representative group. We then extend the proven foundation through suitable access, onboarding and everyday workflows. Scope, cost and timing are agreed for your company.
